**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
- Read and interpret work orders and specifications to follow the scope of work.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in the painting process.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Perform touch-ups and repairs as needed to ensure the highest quality finish.
- Willing/able to work indoors, outdoors, on a ladder and around odours
- Attention to detail, hand-eye co-ordination
- Frequent bending, crouching, kneeling, repetitive work
- Able to lift 50lbs

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in residential painting or construction painting.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the painting profession.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.

**Terms**:

- Full and part-time available (please specify your preference)
- 1 half Saturday work a month
- Occasional overtime, evening, and out-of-town work (Bonuses paid for out of town work)
- 6 month probation
- Starting pay will be based on a painting skills assessment (and increases based on a regular assessments)
