Painter/labourer

We are currently seeking an experienced **Painter** to join our team and contribute to various renovation, repair, and improvement projects across our portfolio.

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, patching, priming, and cleaning.
- Perform both interior and exterior painting tasks for residential and commercial properties.
- Assist with property renovations and improvements by completing painting projects on time and within scope.
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment at all job sites.
- Work with other team members, including carpenters and tradespeople, to coordinate tasks and ensure project completion.
- Match and mix paints to achieve the desired color and finish.
- Perform minor drywall and surface repairs before painting as needed.
- Follow safety procedures and use equipment such as ladders, scaffolding, and power sprayers when required.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional painting experience, ideally in both residential and commercial settings.
- Proficiency in various painting techniques and tools, including brushes, rollers, and sprayers.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
- Knowledge of different paint types and finishes, as well as surface preparation methods.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience in property management or working with real estate companies.
- Ability to perform minor drywall repairs and surface preparation.
- Additional skills in other trades (e.g., plastering, carpentry) are a plus.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to lift materials and equipment (up to 50 lbs.).
- Comfort working at heights, on ladders, and in various environments, including outdoors.
- Flexibility to travel between job sites as needed.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week

- Drywall: 1 year (required)
