Human Resources Business Partner

A merger with Sunbelt Solomon Solutions has opened up opportunities for our business and right now we are looking to hire a full time HR Business Partner to join our team.
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in the Rental business unit. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, its midrange plans, its culture, and its competition.
The HRBP will be required to travel 30% - up to 2 weeks a month depending on the season.
The role is responsible for both U.S. and Canadian operations, a clear understanding of both countries rules and regulations is required.
**About the Role**
- Conducts/attends regular meetings with respective business units
- Performs tasks required to administer and execute HR programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development
- Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings
- Communicates with employees regarding employee relations concerns; provides guidance and recommendations for resolution of issues
- Assists managers and supervisors in understanding and implementing company policies related to performance, discipline, and related topics
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
- Identifies training needs for business units and individual coaching needs

**What you bring to the table**
- An alignment with our values and purpose; this is a must
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws
- 3+ years experience
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Valid DL and passport required
- CPHR Designation required or ability to obtain certification within one year of employment preferred
**Total Compensation**
In addition to a base salary within the rage of $80,000-$100,000, you will also be rewarded with our total compensation package which includes:
