**What you’ll do**
- Contributes to the design and implementation of work practices and processes that enable client groups to achieve their business outcomes. Provides guidance and assistance to leaders in areas such as organizational development, workforce strategy, selection and labour relations. Promotes HR strategies, corporate initiatives and services to facilitate understanding and foster cooperative relationships.
- Collaborates with leaders and/or corporate human resource partners to design and facilitate transition processes to help client groups define and achieve a desired outcome including reviewing and revising descriptions, supporting workforce redesign/reorganizations and facilitating meetings.
- Assists with labour relations activities through methods such as conducting labour relations research, gathering and consolidating routine and exceptional information including data summaries and statistics, attending labour/management meetings, and following-up on action items. Responds to grievances after consultation with the Manager or Consultant and the designated leader.
- Develops, maintains and evaluates administrative processes and systems for effective and efficient human resource activities within the client group. Evaluates procedures, makes recommendations and implements revised methods to improve human resource administration in the areas of responsibility within the human resources team.

**Qualifications**:

- A level of education, training, and experience equivalent to a university degree in Human Resources plus three (3) years of related experience with working knowledge of standard human resource policies and practices and related employment legislation..
- Excellent communications skills including the ability to make formal presentations. The ability to communicate ideas and concepts and to prepare correspondence, reports, minutes and summaries. Skills to operate related equipment and software with data management. The physical ability to perform the duties of the position. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems quickly and efficiently with an emphasis on innovation and measurable outcomes. Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member, develop effective relationships.
