**What you will do**:
As part of Student Success & Engagement team, the Career Coach/ITI Advisor provides guidance to students, alumni and internationally trained immigrants (ITI) who are interested in exploring career and/or educational goals in their area(s) of interest. The Career Coach/ITI Advisor assesses the needs of the students/clients using various assessment tools and provides guidance in helping the student/client develop an action plan for achieving short and long term goals. They make critical referrals where additional supports are needed and assists student/client in navigating the post-secondary environment. The Career Coach/IT Advisor delivers the coaching service through one-on-one consultation, both in person and via phone or Web, and in group settings such as workshops. The Career Coach/ITI Advisor works closely with other team members within the department and departments within the Humber community to ensure excellent service delivery and positive learning outcome.

**What you bring to the role**:
**Education**

A three year post-secondary diploma/degree plus a certificate, diploma or professional designation in: HR, Psychology, Education, Sociology, Career and Work Counsellor Programs. Certificate in academic advising or career coaching offered through (but not limited to) NACADA, CACEE, CERIC, NACE, Conestoga, Fanshawe or University of Calgary etc.

**Experience**

3-5 years of practical related experience in coaching and advising but also including: use of CRM or client management system, collecting and maintaining a database, utilizing technological platforms for advising, and working with a diverse client base including PSE students, mature learners, ESL or immigrant applicants
