**PURPOSE OF THE POSITION**:
**POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES**:
Develop, plan, and implement Local Service Operating strategies, ensuring seamless execution of customer traffic and local T&E coordination
Conduct thorough inventory audits for designated local assignments, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with inventory management protocols
Facilitate waybilling functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of waybills and other essential documentation for operational efficiency
Maintain up-to-date service exception logs across Canada and the U.S., identifying and reporting any discrepancies or issues for immediate resolution
Generate and analyze performance scorecards, publishing Industry Service Summary reports based on collected data to evaluate service delivery against customer expectations
Collaborate closely with trainmasters, issuing precise work orders to crews and offering immediate feedback and recommendations for process improvements to management
Perform additional transactional work and duties as required, ensuring comprehensive support across all operational areas
**POSITION REQUIREMENTS**:
Strong analytical skills complemented by outstanding organizational capabilities
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with proven problem-solving abilities
Proven flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic, 24/7 operational environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Outlook, with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and systems
Post-secondary education is preferred; relevant experience in transportation, logistics, or a related field is highly beneficial
