Job Overview:
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Laborer to join Paterson Yard Works. As a Laborer, you will be responsible for performing various physical tasks to assist with construction, maintenance, and other projects. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors and is looking for a hands-on role. We start with Spring Clean Up in April, then move to mowing and yard maintenance, and in the summer months do hardscaping.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with the setup and cleanup of job sites, loading the trailer with mowers etc.
- Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, raking, lifting, and carrying materials
- Operate hand tools and power equipment as needed (lawn mowers, trimmers)
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers

Qualifications:

- MUST be currently enrolled in University or attending a university in the fall
- Previous experience in a labor-intensive role preferred but not required
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power equipment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team

Contract length: 4 months

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
