About the Role_
The Technical Sales role within Aquatic Life is a business-to-business and business-to-government sales role which involves finding new clients, assessing the needs of prospective clients and promoting the company’s proprietary technology.
To accommodate our rapid growth, we are looking for an ambitious, driven sales professional to join our team. The kind of person that is successful within Aquatic Life is hardworking, intelligent, does not give up and is eager to take their career to the next level. We are inspired by people who are self-motivated and hold themselves to a high standard with an unwavering desire to succeed.
The role is remunerated fully on a base salary and commission basis. As such, your earning potential is based on your success on bringing in new clients, travelling to visit clients in the territory, representing Aquatic Life at key tradeshows and your ability to manage client relationships on an on-going basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to enter the water monitoring industry and help change the world.
- A Person Who Will Excel in This Role May Have: _
- Prior work experience in a business to business or business to government sales environment.
- Minimum of three years of technical sales experience with a demonstrated history of developing a sales territory and customer base.
- Post secondary education in science, engineering, business, marketing. MBA preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated ability with virtual sales development
- Prior experience using customer relationship management (CRM) systems such as Agile.
- Strong work ethic and a will to succeed.
- Is a self starter and motivated to take their career to the next-level.
