**About you**

You are someone with a degree or diploma in computer science. You have at least 2 years’ experience at an IT Help Desk or similar role. You are experienced in Microsoft 365 Suite and AzureAD. Experience with SharePoint and CRM are an asset.

You have good working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems. You are customer service oriented, able to work under mínimal supervision and can multi-task.

Fluency in English is required. French will be considered an asset.

**About the role**

In this role you will:

- Create and modify users’ profiles as required following IT standards. Update users official title and department accesses when needed.
- Create and modify users’ accesses on NI systems. Ensure that users are provided with the correct security and distribution groups. Reset and manage users’ password when necessary.
- Provide basic assistance on Active Directory both on-prem and Azure as well as on other managed devices and services such as DNS, DHCP, RDP, Printing, Firewall, Switches, Office 365 (Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint Online), Board, MS Dynamics GP.
- Lead in the procurement process of IT assets (laptop, smartphone, accessories, licenses).
- Track IT equipment in Ottawa office during their lifecycle as per the relevant corporate policies.
- Update the IT assets inventory with newly procured IT equipment.
- Provide new user account with appropriate security and distribution groups for each new staff and consultant when required.
- Setup and configure laptops, accessories and appropriate software for new employees as per the corporate onboarding package.
- Ensure that departing staff have their network and systems access discontinued, their licenses terminated or repurposed and work with HR to make sure that allocated equipment is timely returned.
- Assist in the development of IT related policies and procedures by providing inputs.
- Review and recommend technical specifications for new laptop and other IT related equipment purchases and maintain approved models list.
- Other duties as required.
