**Deployment Configuration Technician**

A bit about the role _**

Do you love details? Are you passionate about leaving something better than you found it? In this role your eye for detail will ensure that all of our customers are set up with the proper configurations and network adaptations. We’re searching for folks that like to be hands-on and dive into the technical... Please note, this is a 4 month full-time contract from start date, with a strong possibility of extension.

**WHO YOU ARE**
- You can comfortably use software tools like Hubspot, Google Suite, MS Office, Confluence, and JIRA
- You are detailed and process oriented
- You are technically savvy and enjoy the thought of working with a computer (familiarity with Linux and IP Networking is a bonus)
- You are self-motivated and like knowing that you are having an impact.
- You have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

**SECURITY REQUIREMENTS**:

- Be a Canadian Citizen (dual citizens included), or eligible to work in Canada;
- Be willing to comply with Solink’s own security policies and standards.

**WHAT WILL YOU DO?**
- Ensure that the completed installation delights the customer.
- Setting ROI of alarm cameras within the Solink platform.
- Assist technicians with walk-throughs of cameras and validate install placements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic issues related to camera connectivity, video quality, and remote access, including network configurations and port forwarding.
- Run through the prescribed Quality Assurance (QA) process for each location that has the Solink system installed, in order to ensure a perfect operating environment
- Communicate through the appropriate processes to ensure that all parties are informed about the status of an installation after a tech visit and any outstanding work to be completed.
