The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in marketing, with a focus on channel partnerships, event marketing, and agency relationships. You'll be responsible for managing external agencies, coordinating with internal teams and stakeholders, and developing and executing joint marketing initiatives with channel partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage channel partners to maximize demand generation for TechBlocks services and offerings.
- Work with partners and vendors to create and execute joint marketing initiatives and incentives to generate demand and boost sales.
- Train and assist channel partners to ensure they are well-versed in our products or services and can effectively market and sell them.
- Discover new channel partners and assess their potential to contribute to our sales objectives and market penetration.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with digital agencies providing e-commerce solutions or experience with hi-tech professional services companies providing e-commerce solutions is mandatory.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing focusing on channel partnerships, event marketing, or agency relationships.
- A minimum of 3 years of leadership experience.
- Strong relationship-building skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Project Management (PMP) Certification is considered an asset.
- Comfort speaking in front of an audience.
- Valid passport and ability to travel to the USA as needed (up to 25% of your time).
- Valid G-Class license with no restrictions.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid work environment.
- Natural-born storyteller who can craft rough ideas into captivating stories across domains and mediums.
- Proficient with HubSpot for CRM, automations, and reporting is required.
- Flexible and adaptable to shift gears as needed.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate the creative vision, concepts, ideas, and solutions clearly and effectively to stakeholders, internal teams, and clients.
- An understanding of the technology space, including IT Consulting, Software Development, SaaS, Managed Services, or other related spaces is considered an asset.
