We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Web Chat Customer Representative to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Part-Time Web Chat Customer Representative at Waterdown Auto Parts, you will be at the forefront of our customer service efforts. Your primary responsibility will be engaging with customers in real-time through our web chat platform, assisting with inquiries, providing product information, and resolving issues to ensure a seamless online shopping experience. Your ability to multitask, communicate effectively, and contribute positively to our team will be essential.

**Responsibilities**:

- Respond promptly and courteously to customer inquiries and assistance requests through web chat.
- Provide accurate and relevant information about our products, pricing, availability, and promotions.
- Assist customers with navigating our e-commerce website, helping them find products, and placing orders online.
- Address and resolve customer concerns, complaints, and technical issues related to the website or products.
- Collaborate with internal teams to relay customer feedback and contribute to improving our online customer experience.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our product offerings, company policies, and procedures.
- Strive to meet individual and team performance metrics for response time, customer satisfaction, and issue resolution.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant college education is a plus.
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a digital or e-commerce environment.
- Excellent written communication skills with a strong command of grammar and spelling.
- Proficiency in typing and effectively managing multiple chat interactions simultaneously.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and ease in navigating websites.
- Ability to remain composed and customer-focused in fast-paced scenarios.
- A positive attitude, empathy, and dedication to delivering outstanding customer service.
- Flexibility to work part-time hours, including evenings and weekends.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $18.50-$20.10 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
