**Brief Description**

The Research Analyst, Analytics & Insights is responsible for bringing together data, creativity and multiple methods to help our clients make better choices rooted in human insights. All our people, processes and technology are united through our focus on understanding, accelerating and optimizing purchase journeys; making them more satisfying for consumers and more effective for our clients.

**Key Responsibilities Of The Job**
- Work closely with the A&I team to support teams with research and insights
- Understand how to use the day-to-day tools, know when they are best applied to our clients’ businesses, and conduct training sessions with staff
- Generate audience, competitive, and category insight reports from large sets of data; display in an actionable and informative matter for the intended audience
- Supporting the New Business team by utilizing various tools and resources
- Encourage critical thinking among client groups and within the team
- Independently gather and disseminate relevant information, data and articles of interest across the agency as appropriate.
- Present to groups, both small and large
- Work directly with vendors to bring creative solutions and best options to WM

**What You Will Need**
- Minimum 2-3 years as a Research Analyst
- University or College degree/diploma in Media, Marketing, Research, or related field and/or relevant years of experience
- Demonstrates understanding of research tools

- Demonstrates accuracy and attention to detail
- Self-starter who demonstrates initiative
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong collaborative and communication skills
- An insatiable curiosity for problem solving
- Strong interest in uncovering the “whys” behind questions; demonstrates creativity and critical thinking in problem solving with the ability to distil the real question being asked
- A reasonable comfort level working with numbers and data; research methodology coursework an asset but not a requirement
- Team player who can step in and help drive strategy against a landscape that is in constant change
- Thrives in fast paced environment
