**ABOUT THE PROJECT**

The Shoreline Power Group is a fully integrated Joint Venture of Aecon, United and AtkinsRéalis located in Kincardine, Ontario. Shoreline Power Group is the centerpiece of the Major Component Replacement (MCR) program which replaces the main components of 6 reactors at the Bruce Power Nuclear Generating Station. The scope of work includes the removal and replacement of calandria tubes, pressure tubes, and feeders as well as construction management and trade labor. This project is part of Bruce Power’s Life Extension Program, which will allow Bruce Power’s CANDU units to continue to operate safely through to 2064.

**PURPOSE OF THE POSITION**

Reporting to the Contracts Manager, the Contracts Coordinator is responsible for providing accurate and timely commercial advice, consistent with their education, training, and experience, all in accordance with Contracts Manager direction, home companies’ and Joint Venture project requirements and policies.

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**
- Work closely with Contracts Administration and Contracts Management to create and maintain a cohesive and dependable Commercial Team.
- Help ensure that Commercial contractual obligations are identified and met by the Joint Venture.
- Assist project staff with identification, documentation, notification, and quantification of changes in the Work and claims.
- Assist in expediting contractual notices and correspondence, and follow-ups as necessary.
- Draft commercial letters to client and subcontractors.
- Maintain appropriate contract records.
- Attend and support customer and JV project meetings and reviews.
- Support close functional interface between Commercial, Finance and Project Controls.
- Other duties as assigned.

**WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU**
- Technical or business post-secondary education.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in the project management / contract administration.
- Knowledge of construction project operations, policies, and procedures.
- Basic knowledge of construction planning, scheduling, and management.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
- Proven attention to detail.
- Organization and strong time management skills.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Strong communication skills - oral and written.
- Must be a self-starter attitude with proactive, results-oriented focus; and willing and capable to assume additional responsibilities and proven ability to multi-task.

**OTHER QUALIFICATIONS**
