Outlook Dairy Queen Restaurant Supervisor

Outlook Dairy Queen is looking for a Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at our Outlook Dairy Queen that is expected to be opening in June 2023. We are seeking a self-motivated, ambitious, and energetic individual who will be involved in recruitment, training and development and performance management.

**What you’ll do**:

- Establish methods to meet work schedules
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
- Estimate and order ingredients and supplies
- Assist in hiring food service staff
- Ensure food service and quality control
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
- Prepare and submit reports
- Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres
- Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
- Establish work schedules
- Demonstrate day to day behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen our Co-op’s vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safety.
- Lead a culture of safety through the adherence to company standards for health & safety, loss prevention and environmental due diligence.

**Who you are**:
You are looking for a career in Customer Service and:

- Possess 3-5 years of experience in a restaurant environment, including supervisory experience.
- High level of integrity and accountability
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays where necessary.
- Ability to fulfil physical job requirements including manual labour.
- Strong leadership skills that align with DQ’s values of Integrity, Community, Responsibility and Service.
- Ability to foster a culture focused on safety, innovation, and teamwork
