Our organization has supported the region for over 35 years and employs over 300 passionately engaged employees ranging from office administration, nurses, and service health specialists to housing specialists all dedicated to the community, clients, and families.

SHIP is presently looking for a **Quality Analyst** who will be responsible for providing support in the improvement of the overall system and process design at SHIP. They will also be a significant contributor in the accreditation process and occasionally support policy development and provide basic administrative support as needed.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Analyze system problems and identify opportunities for improvement
- Supports Quality Improvement Plan
- Develops, implements, and monitors quality improvement initiatives and maintains the Quality Dashboard
- Delivers Quality Improvement methodologies and practices (i.e. - PDSA, Lean Six Sigma)
- Monitors and evaluates services, systems, and organizational structures to ensure efficient and effective delivery of optimal quality of services
- Supports the use of data for program improvements
- Supports Accreditation process
- Organizes, maintains and stores confidential documents
- Provides daily administrative support such as filing, photocopying, and ordering office supplies
- Prepares complex documents, forms, letters, memos, presentations and reports using a variety of software programs
- Participates in internal and external committees and prepares concise and accurate minutes as required
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to quality care and service delivery based on SHIP’s Vision, Mission and Values
- Adheres to agency Health & Safety Program and the Client Safety Framework in the promotion of client safety
- Performs additional duties as required/delegated

**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary education in social sciences, health sciences, healthcare administration, or equivalent
- Any experience in social services or healthcare is an asset
- Any certification in quality improvement methodologies (i.e. - Lean Six Sigma, etc.) is considered an asset
- Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) designation preferred
- Skilled in financial statement preparation, analysis, and reporting
- Knowledge in dealing with accounting systems, budgets, spreadsheets and internal controls

**Working Conditions and Physical Requirements**
- Day shifts (Monday - Friday) with the ability to work excess/overtime hours where required
- Travel by vehicle to community sites for department/program support as required
