**“CUSTOMS” CO-ORDINATOR JOB DESCRIPTION & DOCUMENT PROCESS FOR SUBMISSION TO CUSTOMS BOKER.**

**This role will incubuses all shipment documentation and Customs submissions to completion.**
- **Packing slip, Commercial Invoice., B.O.L., Point of origin of products, Importer record, etc.**
- **HAZMAT sheets if applicable - MSDA data sheets, these are needed and must be received from ANY shipper or Customer at time of loading or prior to pickup when ever possible to expedite the Customs process.**
- **All quantities & materials identification names, Quantities, Package type, & weight listings must match what is on the Load confirmation documents prior to customs submissions.**
- **Our Company name, Truck # and Trailer # should be identified on documents with the ETA of Border arrival.**
- **Manifest this shipment and enter into “Border Connect” / “Crimson Logic” for clearance and approval.**
- **We will be moving to FLEET MGR for this process in the coming year.**
- **We must keep records and track all our “PARS / PAPS / SEALS.” Date, Assigned truck & Customers name & order #.**

**This is a (C-TPAT) Regulation**
- **Notify customs of a (2) hour arrival time with date, truck for the entry until you receive clearance and an official “ENTRY #”. Once received, supply the driver with this # and add to the specific Order # under - “ORDER NOTES” and customs items in the appropriate fields in FLEET MGR.**
- **Advisement to the Drivers need to have the following documents: Manifest (ACE / ACI) BOL, PKG LIST, HAZMAT Docs, entry # & commercial Inv. For any shipment they are transporting on the assigned trailer.**
- **COMMERCIAL INVOICE, SHOULD BE USED FOR THE PARS / PAPS. AFFIX THE PARS / PAPS. TO THE CCI, AND ENSURE THE COMMERCIAL INVOICE IS ATTACHED WHEN SUBMITTING TO THE CUSTOMS BROKER along with any Bill of Lading or Packing list.**
- **Importers “tax identification” # may be required on specific shipments.**
- **WHEN SENDING / TRANSMITTING TO THE CUSTOMS BROKER FOR CUSTOMS SUBMISSION, TO ACQUIRE AN ENTRY #, MUST BE LEGIBLE AND CLEARLY READABLE TO AVOID THIS TYPE OF EXCUSE BY THE CUSTOMS BROKER.**
- **ALL LOAD CLEARANCE ENTRY #’S SHOULD BE ADVISED AT ALL TIMES TO DRIVERS, PRIOR TO ANY DRIVER APPROACHING THE BORDER OR POINT OF ENTRY TO EITHER COUNTRY. NO DRIVER SHOULD BE ATTEMPTING TO CROSS ANY BORDER WITHOUT AN “ENTRY #”**
- **DRIVERS MUST CONFIRM ETA to DISPATCH FOR THE BORDER OF ENTRY UPON DEPARTURE OF ANY SHIPPER SO THE CUSTOMS PERSON HAS A TIME SCHEDULE TO SUBMIT TO THE BROKER UPON SENDING.**
- **ALL CUSTOMS DOCUMENTS **MUST BE SUPPLIED** OR WE CANNOT SEND A TRUCK TO THE BORDER OR DEPART FROM OUR YARD OR SHIPPER. IT IS THE “CUSTOMS” PERSONS RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE ALL DOCUMENTATION IS RECEIVED PRIOR TO ANY DRIVER DEPARTING A SHIPPER. CUSTOMERS MUST BE NOTIFIED IF YO ARE MISSING ANY DOCUMENTS REQUIRED AND ADVISE OF ANY DELAY AS WELL AS DETENTION CHARGES AND A REVISION OF CONFIRMATION MUST BE SUPPLIED BY THE CLIENT.**
- **CUSTOMERS WHO WE DEAL WITH, WHO WE EXPERIENCE CUSTOMS DELAYS DUE TO THE LACK OF IMPROPER DOCUMENTATION, AFTER 2 CONSECUTIVE TIMES ON THEIR SHIPMENTS, WE MUST ADVISE, WE WILL NOT DEPART OUR YARD UNTIL WE HAVE ALL THE CUSTOMS DOCUMENTS AND AN ENTRY / CLEARANCE # IS CONFIRMED.**
- **TRACKING OF ALL COMPANY “PAPS & PARS” IS A MUST AS WE ARE C-TPAT CERTIFIED.**
- **ALL SHIPMENT SEALS MUST BE TRACKED AND RECORDED AS WELL DUE TO C-TPAT CERTIFICATION.**
- **COMMUNICATION OF ALL CUSTOMS ISSUES, DELAYS, OR CONCERNS MUST BE IMMEDIATE TO PREVENT DELAYS FOR ANY DRIVER CROSSING AND BORDER EITHER WAY TO OR FROM THE USA / CANADA.**
- **THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE SOME OFF OFFICE HOURS AT TIMES TO ENSURE OUR DRIVERS HAVE ENTRY #’S. SOO THE SHIFT MAY BE VARIABLE AND YOU MUSTR BE FLEXIBLE WORKING EARLY OR LATE HOURS.**
- **TAKING ON THIS ROLE IS STRICTLY AN ACCOUNTABLE POSITION. IT REQUIRES OWNERSHIP OF THE POSITION AND A COMMITTED AND DEDICATED PERFORMANCE LEVEL.**
- **SOME TRACKING AND TRACING TASKS WILL BE REQUIRED AS YOU ARE SOULY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DRIVERS ENTRY AND CUSTOMS CLEARANCES.**
- **ADVISEMENT OF ANY ISSUES, DELAYS OR CONCERNS MUST BE COMMUNICATED VIA EMAIL, MESSAGING OR PHONE CALLS TO YOUR OPERATIONS TEAM MEMBERS IMMEDIATELY.**

**BASE SALARY FOR THIS ROLE IS $62,000.00 ANNUALLY AND A PERFORMANCE REVIEW WILL BE DONE AFTER A (90) DAY PROBATIONARY PERIOD.**

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
