**PURPOSE OF THE POSITION**

The Manager, Chelsea Resiliency Lodge provides online and in person programming aimed to prevent violence and assist in the path to recovery from violence for First Nations, Metis and Inuit women. By building resiliency and empowering women, they can lead a good life, and fully participate their family, community and Nation.

The Manager, Chelsea Resiliency Lodge will be responsible for assisting the CEO, Health, MMIWG, Environment, Resiliency Lodges, International & Infrastructure with the programming and virtual operations of the Chelsea Resiliency Lodge and the welcoming of First Nations, Metis and Inuit women to the Lodge.

**SCOPE**

The Manager, Chelsea Resiliency Lodge will be reporting to the CEO and will implement all activities and working collaboratively with the Lodge staff and NWAC team.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Ensure participants have a meaningful experience.
- Ensure all programs are successfully delivered in a culturally appropriate and trauma informed manner.
- Help to ensure budgets are followed.
- Ensure detailed workplans are in place and followed.
- Ensure drafting reports and provide monthly updates to the CEO.
- Conduct research required for necessary data and assist the CEO in data collation.
- Maintain a professional attitude and behavior when dealing with participants in an efficient and empathic manner online and in-person.
- Ensure welcoming of participants to workshops whether online or in person.
- Follow Lodge care policy and procedures.
- Follow established protocols for staff and participants.
- Follow strict confidentially rule, Code of Ethics and professionalism at the Lodge.
- Order of food and supplies as required.
- Organizing and coordinating group events as required.
- Respond to employee requests and questions.
- Prepare correspondence, monthly and end of year reports.
- Handle complaints
- Ensure all appropriate staff training
- Follow all policies and protocols respecting property management including inventory, cleanliness and maintenance.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Work collaboratively with the communications department to promote the Lodge program.
- Handle other responsibilities as assigned by the CEO.

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**
- 5+ years of experience working in not-for-profits, Friendship Centre, crisis centre, shelter or other similar type of organization.
- Post Secondary Degree in social work, education or other related fields.
- Experience in not-for-profits preferred.
