Position Summary:
Direct Relationships:

- Collections Administrators
- Team Manager, 3rd Party Collections and Admin
- Collections Management Team

Position Responsibilities:

- processing personal/business insolvencies and bankruptcies
- processing write offs pertaining to bankrupt files
- locating online obituaries
- processing write offs pertaining to deceased files
- liaising with trustees, executors, receivers as required
- investigate Consumer Proposals / Annulments / Revivals and resolve where necessary
- assist with Administrative duties that may include filing, preparing files for audits, completing proof of claims, completing spreadsheets (EXCEL) where necessary, monitoring and processing of Return Mail
- prepare boxes of documentation to be forwarded to storage facility, Iron Mountain
- Review and update Business Processes/Procedural Documents as required
- other duties as required

Qualifications:

- Business or vocational knowledge learned through University or Community College - 1 Year Program
- Solid understanding of Collection (or related customer service) experience
- High Organization and communication (written and verbal) skills
- Excellent research, analytical and time management skills
- Detail and process oriented with commitment to superior accuracy
- Understanding of the Collection Act and the Bankruptcy Insolvency Act an asset
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Windows, Adobe Products
- PeopleSoft, Techcom, Maestro internal system knowledge an asset
- Team player with ability to work independently
