**PURPOSE**

The role of the Banquet Server is to assist the Banquets Department in maintaining the image of the Hilton Whistler Resort through efficient delivery of banquet services to our guests. The Banquet Server is a leader amongst his colleagues and must be there to assist and answer questions as needed. They must be flexible, love a fast-paced environment and have excellent guest service skills.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Positive and friendly attitude
- Work well under pressure - handle unpredictable situations in a professional and diplomatic manner.
- Able to comprehend & setup Banquet Event Orders
- Guest service oriented individual and strong communication skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision.
- Must be a team player.
- Detail and deadline oriented.
- Serving It Right Certification
