HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:

- Support various areas of the business by analyzing existing governance documentation, distilling essential information, and synthesizing content to enhance navigation and understanding by users
- Identify opportunities to improve the quality and communication of governance practices across our operations through various channels, including internal website, training and presentation material
- Assist in drafting communications to stakeholders regarding governance updates and initiatives
- Assist in the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of Governance PowerBi dashboards
- Evaluate authority standards and internal controls and recommend improvements in governance data that impacts decision-making
- Manage incoming requests and inquiries to the GRC shared inbox, ensuring they are addressed timely and in accordance with internal processes
- Assist with GRC system administration, including document maintenance and publication, user management and troubleshooting as required
- Support ad-hoc governance projects by tracking progress and contributing to reports and presentations

WHAT YOU BRING:

- Actively enrolled in an undergraduate degree or diploma program at a post-secondary institution in Canada, and must be returning to undergraduate studies after the work term
- Second year Bachelor of Communications, or a similar post-secondary program is preferred
- Excellent writing skills, with the ability to support document enhancement and improve internal control quality
- Proactive individual with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to collaborate and build strong working relationships with your team, peers, and diverse business groups
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills and effectively manages multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with strong Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Experience with PowerBi or other data visualization tools is considered an asset
