Your Challenge

Under the supervision of a producer, the media review reporter is responsible for consulting various sources of information each morning to extract content for multiple platforms. This content is then adapted to feed both regional shows in Ottawa and national productions.

In line with Radio-Canada's journalistic standards and practices, the person in this role must demonstrate creativity and thoroughness to effectively inform our audiences.

This is a full-time temporary position until August 2025 on an early morning shift.

You profile:
- A university degree or equivalent- Three (3) years of experience, including three (3) in broadcasting or a related field, directly tied to the area of assignment- Superior writing skills and interest in multi-platform media production- The ability to select relevant, audience-focused stories that reflect issues being discussed by the general public- The ability to react quickly to breaking news- Knowledge of events and issues in the Outaouais and Eastern Ontario, as well as national and international issues- Excellent written comprehension in English- A sense of innovation and risk-taking- Commitment to reflecting the community and diversity
