**Department Overview**
- The TD Private Wealth Management is one of Canada's largest wealth management companies, providing a unique suite of fully integrated banking, investment, insurance, estate and trust solutions to high net-worth individuals. With an approach based on establishing close-knit, long-term, confidential relationships with a select client base, TD Private Wealth Management (PWM) provides individually structured, high-end wealth management solutions to its clients that bring together the expertise and resources of a team of multi-disciplinary experts to provide greater financial flexibility.
- The Market Manager leads a team of wealth management professionals, which includes Wealth Advisors, Private Bankers and Trust Advisors tasked with exceeding clients' needs for asset accumulation, preservation and growth, while delivering a legendary private client wealth management experience.
- Craft a center vision that will drive a cohesive team approach and motivate all individuals to achieve individual and shared performance goals
- Responsible for the delivery of a consistent and integrated legendary PWM experience to all clients and prospects in the Centre, as measured in part, by PWM Leadership Dashboards, which focus on growth, productivity, client experience, and risk metrics
- Ensure all new clients receive a complete on-boarding experience, which includes a thorough client discovery process leading to a truly PWM planning experience, an introduction to PWM Partners and the completion of a client Wealth Strategy for all clients
- Ensure that professionals in center conduct rediscovery meetings with existing clients to add value and deliver a PWM experience, as outlined above
- Develop a thorough understanding and relationship with the top clients of the center and be involved in communicating and re-assessing their personal family vision and financial Wealth Strategy
- Recruit, develop and retain a best in class team of Wealth Advisors, Private Bankers and Trust Advisors
- Understand industry regulations, professional practices, standards, TD operating policies and procedures in order to ensure the center operates in compliance with applicable internal and external requirements
- Consistently lead and facilitate sales meetings that are focused on supporting the sales professionals in the areas of business development, practice management, while working with our TD partners and professional development
- Consistently provide monthly value added, consultative coaching to the sales professionals with a focus on pipeline, developing client referrals and practice management to mitigate risk
- Develop productive working relationships with other key stakeholder groups - Investment Management, Insurance, Wealth Advisory Services, Operations, Compliance, etc.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets consistent with business and organizational objectives in order to grow, develop and manage a highly profitable business within the center.
- Consult on the development of best-in-class client business plans
- Partner effectively with the Retail branch network and Commercial Bank as well as other wealth management professionals to translate potential leads into business
- Lead presentations to key partners about PWM's value proposition.
- Ensure all staff are fully aware of and are compliant with all applicable internal and external regulations, policies and procedures and all other operational accountabilities
- Model and ensure staff understand and adhere to the appropriate operating policies/procedures/controls, Bank/industry service standards, codes of conduct and maintain high ethical standards
- Manage employees in compliance with all HR policies, procedures and guidelines of conduct

**Job Requirements**
- Undergraduate university degree and industry-specific courses as a minimum
- CFP or PFP designation (CFP preferred)
- Chartered Strategic Wealth Professional (CSWP) is a strong asset
- Skilled and experienced financial services sales leader with a minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience in servicing the high net worth sector
- Exhibits excellent leadership and management skills; utilizes experience and sales instincts to managing a highly motivated and independent group of sales professionals within a growth and performance-based culture
- Proven strong personal integrity brand
- Experience in developing and implementing sales strategies for revenue growth and profitability
- Extensive knowledge of the various investment solutions, products, markets and trends
- Excellent presentation skills of complex financial concepts for sophisticated audiences
- Excellent communicator and strong coaching skills to develop, motivate and drive a high performing team environment
