As we continue to grow progressively, Libro is on a mission to find a passionately accountable Personal Credit Administrator L2.

The Personal Credit Administrator L2 is responsible for accurate processing of Level 2 tasks in accordance with Libro loan policies and procedures. This ensures that Libro and our Owner’s interests are well protected. T hey are responsible for working closely with all Personal Credit colleagues and branches by focusing on the accurate and detailed processing of information, forms, and documents, to support seamless delivery of service to Owners. This position embraces the “Be Libro” statements by ensuring our Owners continued satisfaction through timely and efficient loan disbursements and security registration. As a lead worker, they will be proficient in performing their assigned duties at a high level of independence under mínimal supervision.
This is a 12 month full-time contract ending December 2024 (benefits provided).

What you'll do - The Epic Human we are looking for will;
Provide specialized support to branches for Personal Credit administration related matters
Strong knowledge of all lending policies, procedures & documents relating to:
Mortgage/Loan funding process
Teraview Systems
Assyst Real Estate Portal
Ovation and Teller Systems
Doxim
First Canadian Title

Responsible for the preparation of accurate loan and security documents for new personal loans
Conduct and Analyze Property Searches and Sherriff Certificates to ensure a valid and secure mortgage
Responsible for preparing loan instructions to solicitors for new mortgage registration(s). This includes satisfying any outstanding conditions and/or obtaining documents from solicitors prior to loan disbursement
Monitor Solicitor’s Draft Report /Charge to ensure accurate mortgage security is put in place
Review Solicitor’s Final Report for accuracy
Coordinate mortgage registration through accurate communication with Solicitor’s and/or First Canadian Title Co. EX: ordering title insurance accurately and monitoring title documents for accuracy
Responsible for the preparation of accurate loan payouts to solicitor’s and other Financial Institutions
Responsible for processing changes to all real estate secured borrowing in Ovation
Complete all loan extension requests as received
Provide mortgage penalty calculations for our Owners as requested
Answer questions in the Operation’s Assistance Centre

What could you bring - Could this be you?

Post-secondary degree/diploma in Business Administration with business courses or related experience

Experience in the credit area of a financial institution would be an asset with 2-3 years exposure to retail lending

Advanced understanding business concepts including mortgage/loan administration and legal documents

Commitment to innovation and continuous improvement; demonstrates a lean champion mindset

Demonstrates a professional image that supports and reflects the “Be Libro” statements and promotes the culture and brand identity of the organization.

Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
