**Full-Time Bookkeeper**

Harbour Grace Group is a collection of companies owned and managed by its Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Kyle MacDonald. The company is headquartered in London, Ontario and is active in several industries, including a Winery, Real Estate and Philanthropy.

We are looking for a bookkeeper to join our team and assist the CFO with various accounting and bookkeeping tasks for our various operations in varying capacities.

**Duties include**:

- Administering payroll and benefits for three small companies, including government
remittances, preparation of ROEs and T4s and ad hoc payroll reporting as required using
a payroll service
- Accounts Payable and payment processing for several companies
- Regular recordkeeping of financial activity for small farming and retail operation
including:

- accounts payable and payment processing
- monthly industry regulatory reporting
- Bank reconciliations for several companies
- Organize expenses by collecting receipts and categorizing expenses
- Monthly and annual financial reporting for several entities with varying fiscal year ends
- Work collaboratively with on-site staff and external advisors
- Monitor regulatory requirements (remittances and licensing etc.) and submit renewals on
time
- Assist with transition to new accounting software (Acumatica) for all entities
- Filing and additional ad hoc duties related to the role.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Completion of a post-secondary degree/diploma in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures. Experience with creating
financial statements.
- Experience administering bi-weekly payroll and benefits.
- Bookkeeping experience.
- Strong organizational skills required to administer duties of several companies with
varying fiscal year ends.
- Advanced Excel abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy is critical.
- Work independently.
- Ability to interact professionally with people at all levels of the organization.
- Access to a vehicle to visit various company sites.
- Confidentiality is a must.

**Desired Qualifications**:

- Experience using ADP, Sage and Acumatica.
