**JOB SUMMARY**

Reporting to the Supervisor, Charitable Proceeds, the Charitable Proceeds Administrator is responsible for administering table games and Keno to ensure accurate and timely invoice generation through established processes. This includes the preparation of invoices and generating the electronic fund transfer file for the weekly sweeps, calculating accrued interest for slots and tables distribution, reconciling Held Funds, preparing journal entries and reconciling charitable GL account. The position maintains the integrity, accuracy, and credibility of the functions involved by careful attention, analysis, and reconciliation of discrepancies to ensure the accurate quarterly distribution of the charitable pool. This position ensures discrepancies are thoroughly investigated and contributes to the integrity and accuracy of the charitable proceeds processes and ensures that the unit can disburse charitable proceeds accurately and on time.

The Charitable Proceeds Administrator also assists with ensuring that the terminals in the VLT network are balanced and maintain AGLC integrity standards by performing required calculations, verifications, reconciliations and adjustments. This position communicates with the operators and retailers to provide gaming revenue related information, general accounting inquiries and completes various administration tasks as required.

To be successful in this role you must have high attention to detail, accurate data entry skills and the ability to work under pressure and prioritize effectively in a high volume and complex environment with tight timelines and changing workloads. Strong time management and organizational skills are essential. Good communication and relationship building skills are also important to deal with a variety of internal and external stakeholders with diplomacy and tact. You must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

**SKILLS & ABILITIES**
- Minimum of a High School Diploma and at least 3 years of related experience in an accounting/reconciliation environment is required; Post-secondary accounting courses would be an asset.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and revenue accounting processes, policies and practices is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs, including strong Excel skills, is also required.
- Knowledge of electronic keno gaming systems and products and applicable legislation and procedures would be an asset, including Casino Terms & Conditions and Operating Guidelines, Charitable Gaming Policies Handbook, Commercial Bingo Handbook, Host First Nations Charitable Casino Policies Handbook, and Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Act and Regulations.
