Made up of Believeco, our full-service marketing agency, Argyle our public relations and engagement agency and Castlemain, our Indigenous advisory firm. With over 300 people, across seven offices, in 6 provinces and 2 countries, our goal is to be one of North America’s largest and most acclaimed full-service agencies.
It’s an exciting time to join Believeco:Partners. As a result of our continued growth, we are now looking for a Payroll Practitioner II with at least **four years of experience in medium-sized business.**
**Responsibilities will include**:
- Calculate and process employee pay, benefits, deductions, reimbursements, and adjustments for hourly and salary employees in compliance with company, provincial and federal regulatory standards
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of new hires, terminations and pay changes
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries and resolving concerns
- Assist with preparation of payroll account reconciliations and ad hoc reports
- Prepare and process year end reports and reconciliations i.e. T4’s, T2200
- Maintain accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions Assist with calculation & payment of payroll-related remittances (eg. EHT, WSIB, and WCB)

**We’re looking for someone with**:
- 4+ years of payroll experience
- Canadian Payroll Association Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification
- Post-secondary education in accounting/financial/payroll studies
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, including intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Knowledge of provincial employment standards, particularly Ontario, BC, Alberta, NS, and Manitoba
- Experience working with accounting and payroll software
- Knowledge of US payroll would be an asset
