**COMPANY OVERVIEW**:
Located in beautiful Kingston, Diamond Hotels Management Inc. owns and operates hotels and restaurants in Kingston and Sault Ste Marie, Ontario including Delta Hotels by Marriott Kingston Waterfront, Aquaterra at the Delta Hotel, Holiday Inn Express & Suites Kingston Central, Holiday Inn Express Sault Ste Marie, Quality Inn & Conference Centre Kingston Central and Comfort Suites Kingston Central and the Kingston Frontenacs Hockey Club.

Reporting to the Controller, your primary responsibility is to process the entire payroll cycle while ensuring an accurate and timely payroll process and adherence to legislative requirements, for 6 companies associated with Diamond Hotels Management Inc. The secondary responsibility is to manage the accounts receivable process and general accounting/administrative duties as required.
**KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY**:
- Co-ordinate with all managers for timesheets and enter all weekly hours from Excel, new employees into Sage 300
- Process all vacation requests, rate changes and all other changes to accurately complete the payroll
- Calculate, balance, and process all payroll deductions in a timely manner - this includes source deductions, EHT, WSIB, group insurance, etc.
- Complete all Service Canada communication from ROEs to information requests
- Process and distribute annual T4’s and other government year-end reconciliations
- Accounts receivable - daily sales reconciliations, send out invoices, statements, review outstanding balances and collections as required
- Bank deposits and pick-up/drop off mail at other locations as required
- Performing other duties that include opening and distributing mail, filing, ordering office supplies, scanning documents and other administrative and accounting duties as required

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Completion of a two-year college diploma in related area or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 year’s payroll experience, preferably managing multiple payroll cycles
- Must have access to a vehicle and have a valid driver’s license
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office, more specifically Excel, and payroll software programs
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail
- Must possess the ability to work and communicate effectively within a diverse and multi-cultural team environment
- Thorough knowledge of relevant payroll legislation
- Enthusiastic, professional, and well presented at all times
- Experience with Sage 300 an asset
- Ability to work general office hours (Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm)
