Howe Sound Brewing is a fun, caring and open-minded brewery that is passionate about craft beer, our brand, and values. We are located in the heart of Squamish, where we can brew great beer and enjoy the amazing nature in Sea to Sky country.
We are currently seeking a full-time brewer to join our production team. If you are experienced, energetic, a self-starter and enthusiastic about craft beer, we invite you to join our team
**Responsibilities**:
- Perform all tasks associated with brewing great and consistent craft beers, from milling to fermentation
- Carry out cellaring taskings including dry hopping, transfers, carbonation
- Perform thorough sanitation of fermenters and bright tanks
- Package finished beer in keg and can formats
- Conduct routine measurements of beer including gravity and pH
- Conduct sensory evaluations such as diacetyl and DMS
- Package beer in kegs
- Operate canning line
**Skills and Qualifications**:
- Love of craft beer
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-starter
- Work under mínimal supervision
- Familiar with Microsoft excel and Word
- Familiar with Ekos is a bonus
- Ability to work 10 hour shifts
