**Job Summary**:
A strong team, like a great beer is the sum of its parts. Our necessary ingredient is an awesome person to join us in our brewery, as a brewer. Our beer is what has turned us into a local and visitor hot spot in Squamish. Our Brewers are creative and passionate about the product the create, and the experience each pour delivers. Our Brewers must be aware that they are a representative of BCB and our organizations values. This individual ought to share an enthusiasm for great beer, and creating memorable experience for our customers at every sip.

- **Job Responsibilities as follows**_

**Product Development**:

- We are an experimental brewery and you will have the opportunity to participate in all aspects involved.
- You will work within product development in conjunction with the head brewer to develop interesting and unique beers that our consumers will enjoy.
- Creating recipes, experimenting with fermentation, grain and yeast brewing small batches for testing.

**Brewhouse Operations/Equipment Maintenance**:

- Ensuring the brew recipe is being followed accordingly and accurately and the beer is stored correctly.
- Maintain equipment within the brewery and work within the maintenance schedule provided within production requirements.
- Cleaning and filling kegs.
- Assisting with canning and packaging.
- Performing other duties as required.

**Quality Control/Cellaring**:

- Data entry for brew, fermentation, cellar, and quality control
- Detailed records must be kept, with the goal of improving beer quality and production processes.
- Operates brewery canning & kegging lines
- Daily clean-up & maintenance of equipment
- Cellaring tasks trained to quality standard.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous brewery experience an asset.
- Sense of urgency and ability to move with purpose.
- Problem Solving.
- Enthusiasm for beer a must.
- Must be organized and able to prioritize.
- Forklift experience and certification an asset.

**Working & Physical Requirements**
- Can lift and move up to 140 pounds, work long hours on their feet.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
