**JOB OVERVIEW**

The Volunteer Experience team is responsible for recruiting and maintaining effective volunteer support for CCS throughout an annual cycle of campaigns and activities. The team establishes and implements standards of practice, tools, resources, and support for volunteers and staff partners throughout the volunteer cycle.

Reporting to the VE Manager, Recruitment, the Volunteer Experience Business Partner is a nationwide position that **includes a specific business area focus on Quebec.** This role is accountable for informing operational priorities and plans and innovative initiatives to increase effectiveness and engagement of new and existing volunteers for the annual Daffodil campaign activities nationwide, and specific events and activities in Quebec including Gala des Chef, Relay for Life and Run for the Cure.

The Volunteer Engagement Business Partner will work closely with other members of the VE team, as well as staff partners in the area of business within the portfolio to ensure volunteers in the are engaged and supported in a positive experience throughout the volunteer cycle.

**WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING**:
Stakeholder Engagement
- Works collaboratively with key stakeholders within CCS to develop volunteer priorities and recruitment plans that meet both organizational needs and volunteer interests;
- Drives strong relationship management principles within the Volunteer Experience team and with other CCS teams;
- Support staff partners on CCS teams in relationship management for volunteers and provide training as required within VE team objectives;
- Establishes and cultivates strong relationships with external parties and stakeholders to ensure support of volunteer recruitment and involvement.

Volunteer Experience Team Contributions
- In collaboration with the Volunteer Experience and business area teams, is accountable for the development of annual work-plan and targets in priority areas, regularly assessing volunteer needs within the business area portfolio;
- Works collaboratively with the VE team to develop supporting resources and disseminate to staff and volunteers as required to meet VE team objectives and in support of the business area portfolio;
- Works closely and collaboratively with VE team for a consistent and integrated volunteer experience across business areas and geographic locations;
- Embodies team spirit in working with the VE team to achieve goals and objectives collaboratively;
- Ensures that outcome-focused processes, practices, and tools support all areas of the volunteer cycle and best practice in the business area;
- Contribute to the development and revisions of policies and procedures related to the volunteer experience and support the implementation of standards of practice and ensure they are adhered to by volunteers and staff;
- Keep current and up to date on volunteer knowledge, and strategies and plans of the business area;
- Work collaboratively with the VE team to develop supporting resources and disseminate to staff and volunteers, as required to meet overall VE team objectives and to specifically support Quebec needs including Mission activities.

Volunteer Experience Operation
- Ensures accurate and consistent management of volunteer data in the OneCRM and other databases used by the Volunteer Experience team;
- Works closely with the DAS team in establishing, maintaining, and updating technological solutions that inform the volunteer recruitment process and cycle;
- Support specific VE team projects that support the overall operations plan including Salesforce, and integration of volunteers into the administrative work of VE;
- Supports the development of procedures and processes that ensure that the VE team utilizes data management effectively;
- Develops processes, tools and resources that support the VE team in ensuring efficiencies and regular targets/metrics;
- Actively contribute to our culture of justice, belonging, equity, diversity, and inclusion by ensuring that all staff feel represented and heard regardless of their gender, age, religion, ethnicity, and nationality or race.
