**Overview**:
As the Assistant Product Manager you will be responsible for the development and operation of Jule’s product lines - JuleHub, Jule EV Fast Charging Stations, and JuleLink. You will work closely with the design team, engineering, and sales and marketing teams to strategize, collaborate, and align business efforts.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Serve as internal point person for the web platform, collaborate with product management teammates, engineering, sales and marketing to integrate all features that impact the customer into the JuleHub Energy Platform.
- Assist in defining and leading product initiatives that solve important problems for our clients, help them achieve their business goals, and drive increased value through the platform.
- Build, maintain and a prioritized roadmap in collaboration with the cross functional stakeholders.
- Work with the product innovation team to track the competitive landscape by keeping up with the latest trends in EV and EV Charging industry.
- Work with the Hardware development team to control cost, implement new functionalities and features and optimize the business objective fulfilment and user experience of our client.
- Quantify the opportunity and risk associated with all energy services features (EV Charging, Grid services, host facility support, etc), and establish internal business cases.
- Collaborate with engineering (hardware, middleware and software), program management, sales and business development team to align on program timelines.

You may also be responsible for:

- Serve as technical representative on product features and functionality for Sales and Marketing teams, including participating in customer meetings as required.
- Identify, evaluate, and qualify potential partners or other industry stakeholders that can help deliver the required solutions.

**KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS**:

- You are self-motivated, spontaneous and detail oriented.
- You are comfortable with rapid changes and uncertainty in an emerging industry.
- You are proficient with Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, etc.) and project management tools (Jira, Confluence, Miro, Figma, etc)
- You are a team player who likes to overcome engineering challenges with others and are open to feedback.
- You are not afraid to get your hands dirty. You will not only design things at your desk but also get involved in the testing lab, manufacturing plant and potential site visits.

**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE**:

- You have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, Science or Business/Commerce
- You have completed structured product management learnings via either previous working or learning experiences.
- You have at least 1 year of experience as an assistant product manager within a tech environment, with a record of successfully delivering complex IIoT or networked products.
- You have at least 1 year of experience working in or with an engineering development team to deliver device design, functionalities, and features from start to finish.
- You must be legally entitled to work in Canada (a copy of a valid work permit will be required for international students).

Preferred:

- You have previous experience of managing a DCFC-relevant product or service.
- You have more than 3 years of experience managing a product line or service relevant to Jule’s business coverage.
- You are cable of using data analytical tools, such as Salesforce, NumPy, Skylab.
- A valid Ontario “G” Class Driver’s License with no demerit points.
