**Qualifications**:
Hold a Diploma of Vocational Studies in a specialty appropriate for the class of employment, a Secondary School Diploma or a diploma or an attestation of studies recognized as equivalent by the competent authority.

AND

Have some knowledge of office automation.

**Other Requirements**:
Bilingual (French and English)

Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills

Excellent organizational skills

Experience in Continuing Education would be an asset

Able to work independently

**Salary scale as per the IASS’ Collective Agreement**:
$21.73 - $22.65

Nature of the work

The principal and customary work of an employee in this class of employment consists in performing a variety of relatively simple administrative duties according to established instructions, methods or procedures and requiring routine decisions based on a limited number of elements.

Characteristic functions

The employee in this class of employment compiles data, take attendance, performs simple calculations and prepares reports.

He or she takes and transfers telephone calls; receives and forwards messages and faxes; provides information of a general nature on the telephone or in person; greets and, if necessary, directs visitors. He or she drafts notes concerning telephone calls. He or she records answering-machine messages.

Daily Tasks/Dossiers

Evening work schedule - 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM (flexible)

Work at reception - answering calls; providing information on the programs; referring calls to the appropriate people.

Receptive and friendly attitude

Ability and disposition to deal with all students

Manage reservation for restaurant

Writes letters requested by students

Work with JADE/Tosca

Work with La Procure to manage student payments

As needed, performs any other related duties

Nature du travail

Le rôle principal et habituel de la personne salariée de cette classe d’emplois consiste à accomplir divers travaux administratifs de nature complexe selon des méthodes et procédures définies.

**Horaires de travail du soir**: 15:00 - 21:00 (flexible)

Travail à la réception - répondre aux appels ; fournir des informations sur les programmes ; diriger les appels vers les personnes appropriées.

Attitude réceptive et amicale

Gestion des réservations pour les restaurants

Capacité et disposition à traiter avec tous les étudiants

Rédiger les lettres demandées par les étudiants

Travailler avec JADE/Tosca

Travailler avec La Procure pour gérer les paiements des étudiants

Selon les besoins, effectuer toute autre tâche connexe
