ATS Containers specializes in the sale, leasing and modification of shipping containers for mobile storage purposes. We have been in business for over 30 years and are the largest Canadian provider of shipping containers with multiple offices across Canada.

We are a growing company with a young and dynamic team, looking to add a purchaser to our container modification team. Other companies may call this role:

- Junior Purchasing clerk
- Purchasing coordinator

- Procurement agent

This is a permanent, full-time position in LaSalle (Montreal).

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Review container modifications in progress to ensure material requirements are met
- Plan and negotiate with existing and potential suppliers for project requirements
- Regular monitoring and replenishment of inventory levels of supplies, parts, building materials and industrial equipment
- Inspects and evaluates the quality of items purchased and then resolve shortcomings
- Development of new procedures in the modification process, as required
- Research new and innovative products and supplies to improve processes
- Coordination with customer service team, modification crew and suppliers, and customers
- Coordination of building maintenance and repairs

**Required Skills**:

- Must be bilingual in English and French;
- Knowledge of construction tools/equipment an asset
- Excellent communication skills (written/verbal) and interpersonal skills;
- Demonstrated organizational ability and follow-through;

Nous sommes une entreprise en pleine croissance avec une équipe jeune et dynamique, cherchant à ajouter un acheteur(euse) à notre équipe de modification de conteneurs. D'autres entreprises peuvent appeler ce rôle:

- Commis aux achats ou coordonnateur des achats

Il s'agit d'un poste permanent à temps plein à LaSalle (Montréal).

**Responsabilités**
- Examiner les modifications de conteneur en cours pour s'assurer que les exigences matérielles sont respectées
- Planifier et négocier avec les fournisseurs existants et potentiels pour les exigences du projet
- Suivi régulier et réapprovisionnement des niveaux de stocks de fournitures, de pièces, de matériaux de construction et d'équipements industriels
- Inspecte et évalue la qualité des articles achetés, puis résout les problèmes
- Élaboration de nouvelles procédures dans le processus de modification, au besoin
- Rechercher des produits et des fournitures nouveaux et innovants pour améliorer les processus
- Coordination avec l'équipe du service client, l'équipe de modification et les fournisseurs, et les clients
- Coordination de l'entretien et des réparations du bâtiment

**Compétences requises**:

- Doit être bilingue en anglais et en français;
- Connaissance des outils/équipements de construction un atout
- Excellentes compétences en communication (écrite/verbale) et en relations interpersonnelles;
- Capacité d'organisation et de suivi démontrée;
