As part of Gay Lea’s strategy of providing exceptional service to its shareholders, we are currently seeking a qualified individual to fill the role of a Member Services Representative (MSR) on a contract basis (12 months). This role would serve our members across Ontario and Manitoba.
Reporting to the Manager of Member Relations, the role of the MSR is an integral part of our Co-operative structure and our Member Relations team. The Member Relations Team is responsible for maintaining and expanding all aspects of the ongoing relationships with our shareholders.
Your passion for the agriculture industry, event planning and a general understanding of co-operatives are considered assets for this role.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan and participate in a variety of Gay Lea Foods and industry meetings and events, as required
- Provide exceptional customer service to shareholders with information and support.
- Travel to farm calls with producer and preference shareholders on a regular basis across Ontario; Travel may be required to Manitoba, if warranted.
- Maintain database records and various related duties
- Participate in on-the-job training as required
- Complete other projects and duties as assigned by Management

**Qualifications**:

- Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet performance targets
- Sound judgment in order to maintain and respect member confidentiality guidelines and obligations
- Ability to effectively multi-task and manage several projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Proven experience planning and executing large organizational events
- Proven ability to work with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Post-secondary education and sales experience in an agriculture-related field is preferred.
- Proof of a valid G driver’s license is required, along with a reliable vehicle for regular work travel
- Ability to communicate in French (both written and oral) would be considered an asset.
