Summary:
**Responsibilities**:

- Travel to customer locations to perform on-site automotive maintenance, repair, and diagnostic services.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues and determine appropriate repair solutions.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic automotive systems, such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and HVAC systems.
- Utilize diagnostic equipment and software to troubleshoot vehicle malfunctions and interpret error codes.
- Provide accurate estimates for repair costs and timelines to customers.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain repair recommendations and obtain necessary approvals.
- Order and procure necessary parts and materials for repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, including parts used and labor hours.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while performing automotive services.
- Keep abreast of latest automotive technologies, tools, and repair techniques through training and professional development opportunities.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and ensuring satisfaction with services provided.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the service vehicle and tools.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of automotive technical school or apprenticeship program preferred.
- Proven experience as an automotive technician, with at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate service vehicles safely.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills; familiarity with automotive systems and components.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, equipment, and software for troubleshooting vehicle issues.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet customer service deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact professionally with customers.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and service.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
- Journeyman certification or other relevant certifications preferred.
- Previous experience in a mobile service or roadside assistance role is a plus.
