**POSITION**:Tow Truck Operator**
**LOCATION: Ottawa, Ontario**
- Operations HQ is located at 5515 Canotek Rd, Unit 1. Gloucester, ON K1J 9K9
**Shift**:
- 1:00 pm - 11:30 pm
**Shift Rotation**
- Week 1**:Sun **_Mon Tues_ **Wed**_ _**_Thurs _**Fri Sat
- Week 2: Sun **_Mon Tues Wed_** Thurs **_Fri Sat_**
**Duties/Responsibilities**
Respond to dispatched calls in Ottawa and the surrounding areas as required and provide CAA/AAA members with appropriate road service.
Duties include:
- Operating a Tow Truck
- Battery testing & installing new car batteries
- Minor automotive repairs & tire changes
- Unlocking vehicles
- Extrications
- Other duties as required

- Willingness to travel to complete all required training
- Ability to work in extreme weather; heavy lifting required
- Valid Class G Driver’s License and driving record acceptable to club standards
- Experience operating a Tow Truck is an asset
- Wreckmaster certification is an asset
- Automotive mechanical knowledge is an asset
- Fluency in both official languages an asset
- Employee is required to join Unifor Local 414
**Compensation**
- Base Salary: $24.00/hour
- Additional Per Call Payment
