**Bookkeeper**
Linda Deng Bookkeeping Service Inc. is a leading provider of manufacturing support services to the global automotive industry. Our Bookkeeping team is responsible for our accounts payable and accounts receivable departments. The Bookkeeper will also assist in the preparation of financial reports as required by Scarborough, ON laws and regulations.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable files
- Process accounts payable payments and follow up on outstanding invoices
- Communicate with vendors and customers to obtain necessary information to process payments
- Prepare bank deposits, checks, and other financial documents
- Prepare monthly bank statements and reports as requested
- Prepare payroll checks and records as required by law
- Enter data, maintain records, and balance financial statements daily, weekly, monthly, and annually
- Prepare for audits as requested
- Other duties as assigned by management
**Skills Required**:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Able to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 3 per week
**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Scarborough, ON M1W 3H5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Education**:
- DCS / DEC (preferred)
**Experience**:
- QuickBooks: 1 year (preferred)
- Bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)
**Language**:
- English (preferred)
