**Job Summary**

The Drafting and Design Assistant will be responsible for all aspects of drafting, as well as assisting the design manager with client communications and selections, design concepts, product selection and ordering.

**Performance Objectives**

**Essential Functions**:

- Ensure all subordinate employees are working to their full potential
- Ensure all employees hours are recorded into Builder Trend software daily and reviewed for accuracy by Monday morning at 11am for the previous week
- Make sure all projects are up to framing code and up to Pine Creek Homes standards
- Create material takeoffs with 90 percent accuracy and reduce material waste to 5 percent or less
- Create a framing schedule and execute it with 90 percent accuracy
- Ensure every project and every worker on the project is following safety regulations

**Minimum Qualification Requirements**
- Able to read, understand and explain blueprints
- Ability to lead a crew of up to 6
- Time management for themselves and subordinates
- Able to manage material use and plan ahead to make sure material is on site when needed
- Ability to develop junior team members and coach them to reach their full potential
- 8+ years of framing experience
- at least 4 of these years must be in residential framing
- 3+ years of foreman experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
