**ROCK TRUCK OPERATOR**

Reporting to the Site Foreman, the Rock Truck Operator will operate articulated and rigid framed rock trucks on a daily basis. The Rock Truck Operator will be working on a rotational basis in a remote location where camp accommodations and meals will be provided. The project sites are located in Northern Manitoba and Northern Ontario and may require day and night shifts.

**CORE RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES**:

- Able to operate articulated or rigid frame rock trucks in a safe and efficient manner
- Conduct daily pre-trip safety inspection on equipment
- Perform general maintenance and cleaning of construction equipment as required
- Report all incidents and near misses to direct supervisor
- Ensure safety is a top priority at all times
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor

**EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS**:

- 2+ years Rock Truck experience
- Must hold a valid driver’s license
- Civil earthworks or mining experience required
- Ability to work day and night shift is mandatory
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to self-start and take initiative on tasks
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
