**Position**: Social Media Creative Lead
**Reports to**: Marketing Manager, Social Media
**Position Term**: Full Time Permanent

**Job Purpose**:
The Social Media Creative Lead is responsible for delivering a broad range of unignorable multimedia content that drives our audiences to engage with World Vision Canada’s social media platforms.
Reporting to the Manager of Social Media, the Social Media Creative Lead is skilled in all facets of content ideation, creation and execution for all social media platforms.
This role provides guidance and leadership from developing concepts with stakeholders and collaborators to determining the most efficient and cost-effective way to complete projects.
**Responsibilities**:
Multimedia and Responsive Design
- Collaborate, create and produce engaging content for social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, X, TikTok and YouTube with the goal of increasing audience engagement and reaching new potential donors
- Produce creative multimedia content within brand guidelines to drive marketing performance.
- Develop real-time, culturally revelent and trending content from ideation through to execution, including support with photo and video content using various multimedia equipment
Video Production
- Produce creative video content for multiple social platforms to drive marketing performance.
- Work with external vendors and partners to support video content creation to ensure quality and consistency of messaging across channels.
- Ensures that all timelines and production schedules are respected, tracking projects and supporting necessary revisions or enhancements as needed.
- Produce videos from concept to post-production.
Additional Responsibilities
- Contribute to fostering a creative environment that supports the organization's mission and embraces its core values while encouraging team development through inclusion, open communication, and collaboration.
- Collaborate on content ideation, planning, production, distribution, and analysis.
- Provide recommendations on content management, repurposing, and distribution opportunities.
- Work cross-functionally to plan, align and deliver content with all departments (Ministries).
- Meet with stakeholders or collaborators to understand goals and content concepts for each project. Creates visual aids (e.g., storyboards; outlines, layouts, scripts) as needed to help build and clarify a concept.
- Keep up to date on cultural, social, and design trends and regularly presents innovative design solutions to promote continuous design improvement.
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum 3 years of professional creative services (e.g., graphic design, video editing and production) experience with a portfolio of quality multimedia digital content.
- Demonstrated ability to develop compelling multimedia packages (i.e., a combination of photo, video, and graphic skills); proficiency with multimedia tools (e.g., DSLR camera, Adobe Creative Cloud products).
- Experience in front and back end social media platforms including Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, Pinterest, and YouTube
- Experience developing, designing, curating, and managing multimedia content on social media.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and deliver under tight deadlines.
- Strong creative thinker, ability to conceptualize vision and brand.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Committed team player with proven collaboration skills.
- Experience working with creative freelancers and third-party vendors is an asset.
- Demonstrated organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Experience in specialized storytelling and video production with a primary focus on social media marketing.
