**Position: Admissions Manager**

Urban Academy is a rapidly growing independent school in New Westminster located in a beautiful new facility across the street from Braid Street Skytrain Station. Reporting to the Director of Development, and working collaboratively with the Development and
Marketing Team, the Admissions Manager is a vital part of a dynamic staff team in a growing ISABC school. They will work with internal and external stakeholders including feeder schools and placement agencies and draw on various teacher and staff team members to support admissions activities.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
Including but not limited to the following:

- Collaboratively develop ongoing strategic goals for the department.
- Oversee, review and adjust intake and assessment practices regularly to ensure we are on the leading-edge of innovative processes.
- Respond to parent inquiries, offering insight into the Urban Academy Program.
- Liaise with parents and staff to lead admissions events including webinars, tours and open houses.
- Manage the funnel of applicants to new students.
- Lead onboarding initiatives of new students and families.
- Track and report admissions data.
- Work closely with marketing to ensure admissions events and activities are professional and well presented and communicated.
- Manage the admissions module in the student management system.

**Qualifications and Experiences**
Required Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills when working with a variety of stakeholders
- Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
- Attention to detail
- Public speaking & presentation skills
- Experience in planning group events
- Problem solving ability
- Ability to manage tight deadlines and time sensitive processes is essential
- The ability to show good judgement and manage sensitive and confidential information appropriately
- Technical skills including knowledge of working within a google suite, spreadsheet/reporting skills and database software.
- Leadership skills with the ability to see ideas move from planning to fruition.
