Overview of The Role

As IT Manager, PMO-Change Management & Communications at Saputo, you lead a dedicated team and provide guidance and support to divisional change leads as they enable change for large scale, complex ERP implementations and smaller IT initiatives impacting business processes across our global divisions.

As a change management and communications professional, you take a hands-on approach to designing relevant strategies, creating and executing detailed project plans, as well as prioritizing and facilitating change activities. You measure and monitor change readiness, proactively identify and escalate risks, and work with leaders and stakeholders to drive user adoption and realize business benefits.

How You Will Make Contributions That Matter:
Reporting to the IT Director, PMO—Change Management & Communications and working collaboratively with change management, training and project teams, the IT Manager, PMO—Change Management & Communications is responsible for:

- Managing the core change management and communications team members, setting and reviewing annual goals, assigning project responsibilities, coaching performance, and supporting growth; creating the conditions for a positive, high-performing team to thrive
- Providing oversight for change management and communications deliverables by establishing standards and governance, monitoring and reporting on progress, and ensuring outcomes align with project objectives
- Tailoring change management and communications strategies to each project, developing detailed workplans, and executing them in collaboration with core and external project team members, divisional change leads, and the business to drive business readiness and end-user adoption on concurrent projects
- Prioritizing, leading and/or supporting, and reporting on change management activities, such as stakeholder assessment, leadership and organizational alignment, change impact assessment and mitigation, role mapping, system identity creation, business readiness reviews, and skills assessment
- Leading divisional alignment of the global sustainment strategy, including the key user network
- Leading and/or supporting strategic project communications, including developing strategies and plans, conducting audience analyses, crafting key messages, designing, writing and editing content, reviewing and endorsing communications, following approval workflows, and using a variety of channels and media to disseminate messages
- Developing change capabilities within your team and the business
- Providing strategic advice, guidance, leadership, and solutions to team members at all levels of the organization or project
- Collaborating with IT leadership and the change management team to research, recommend, define and prioritize new opportunities for improvement and emerging technologies, methodologies and strategies

You Are Best Suited for The Role If You Have the Following Qualifications:

- Minimum bachelor’s degree in a relevant program (e.g. business, psychology, organizational development, English, information technology), or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in leading change management and communications teams and activities on large scale, complex ERP implementation projects
- Minimum 5 years’ additional experience working as a change management professional on IT projects, with preference given to dairy, manufacturing, distribution, or CPG industry experience
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities under pressure
- Ability to work independently and as part of leadership and delivery teams
- Demonstrated understanding of the significance of an integrated change management approach, which includes communications and training, in driving successful business process and technology changes
