We are a full-line stainless steel service center and distributor, seeking a talented and experienced Inventory Coordinator to join our team. As a leading player in the industry, we offer a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work with a diverse range of inventory activities, including planning, receiving, documentation, troubleshooting, and inventory counts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and confirm all branch transfers from Toronto to Montreal, ensuring proper tagging and documentation.
- Evaluate incoming inventory documentation, verifying accuracy, signatures, and piece counts.
- Reconcile pre-receipt with actual receipt, collaborating with receivers to make adjustments if necessary.
- Confirm and review requested adjustments, making necessary weight and piece count amendments.
- Assist in preparing and organizing inventory tags for efficient tagging of items.
- Troubleshoot discrepancies and assist in finding effective solutions.
- Assist with Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), including confirmation, documentation, and forwarding to relevant departments.
- Support the warehouse by ordering supplies and coordinating with suppliers.
- Prepare delivery notes for outbound material, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Review shipping documentation from Ulbrich to ensure consistency and correctness.
- Collaborate with the finance team during the month-end close process.
- Participate in year-end counts, including adjustments of pieces and weights.
- Generate and prepare month-end reports.
- Provide backup support to other team members as needed.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business management or supply Chain.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume distribution environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Prior experience with inventory management systems is preferred.
