Transportation Account Lead

Mott MacDonald is currently seeking a Transportation Engineering Account Leader to work with our growing transportation engineering infrastructure team, with a focus on our local clients in the Lower Mainland.
- This is a role where you'll be responsible for engaging and working with our transportation clients in the local public transportation sector, including the province and local municipalities to develop strong working relationships and deliver a variety of multi-modal transportation assignments including highways, municipal roadways, transportation planning, and active transportation infrastructure. More specifically, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Identifying new opportunities and lead the planning of business development, capture strategy, and pursuits of transportation projects.
- Planning, organizing, coordinating and working with technical and management groups in the delivery of a range of transportation projects.
- Develop and present deliverables to clients for status, updates, and reports to a political board and sub-committees.
- Participate with senior leaders in the establishment of short
- and long-term plans for the transportation program.
- Oversee technical scopes of work and conduct project reviews.
- Develop and maintain excellent client relations, always having an awareness of their needs.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience with the development and delivery of transportation projects, including a minimum of five (5) years of delivering transportation projects to public sector clients in the Lower Mainland.
- Technical background in transportation engineering, bridge engineering, and/or transportation planning.
- Demonstrated interest in business development, and the development and maintenance of client relations.
- Desire to work with multiple agencies to develop projects in a collaborative fashion.
- In depth knowledge of the Lower Mainland transportation infrastructure market.
- Strong written and oral communication and leadership skills is very important for this role.

In compliance with the B.C. Pay Transparency Act, the expected salary range is from $154,000 - $163,000**Job Profile**
