Reporting to the Manager, Account Management, Savings Plans, Account Transfers and Mutual Funds, the Officer, Account Management, is responsible for assisting the account management sectors. The account management officer is responsible for making entries in accounts receivable and authorizing cash and share outflows while ensuring compliance with all procedures in place.

**Responsibilities**:
º Make withdrawals and contributions to TFSA accounts in accordance with tax laws and compliance of the account in question

º Make internal transfers

º Issue cheques, EFTs, wire transfers and cash conversions

º Adjust carrying amounts in accounts receivable

º Verify entries made in closed accounts

º Make sales and re-registrations of GICs and Quebec Savings Bonds

º Write off worthless securities and residuals

º Conduct daily analysis of delinquent accounts

º Prepare daily and detailed monthly reports of amounts owed to different stakeholders

º Serve as a resource person for internal and external clients

º All other tasks related to account management

**Qualifications**:
º College diploma in administration

º Two years of relevant experience

º Experience in operations (an asset)

º Understanding of securities industry (an asset)

º Familiarity with ISM systems (an asset)

º Bilingual, spoken and written French and English

º Teamwork skills

º Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

º Demonstrates professional rigour and thoroughness

º Organizational and priority management skills

º Quick to adapt to urgent situations and ability to work under pressure

º Excellent ability to work independently

º Ability to provide quick and effective customer service
