Internal Sales Representative Focusing On Operations

As an Inside Sales Representative (ISR) focusing on Operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our operations department. Your primary responsibilities will involve assisting the Operations team in various tasks related to procurement, order processing, customer communication, sales support and process optimization. You will be responsible for maintaining standardized processes, accurate records, facilitating efficient workflows, and providing exceptional support to both internal teams and external stakeholders.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Generate purchase orders and sales orders in a timely manner ensuring accuracy and alignment with order request
- Place orders with a number of vendors
- Monitor the status of orders placed, proactively communicate with vendors to track progress, and resolve any issues or delays that may arise.
- Provide regular updates to customers regarding the status of their orders, including estimated delivery dates and any pertinent information
- Maintain and update databases with relevant information to ensure accuracy and accessibility of data
- Provide support to the sales team, assist in preparing quotations as needed
- Assist Operations team in standardized process adherence, providing guidance to team members on process adherence.
- Take an active role in identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance their efficiency

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a similar role within operations, procurement, or logistics preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proactive problem-solving skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Collaborative team player with a willingness to assist colleagues across departments.
- Post-secondary degree in supply chain management, or related field preferred.
