Thunder Bay, Canada Windigo Contracts LP Full time

Windigo Contracts LP is currently looking for a full-time bookkeeper.

The Bookkeeper will assist the Director of Finance with general bookkeeping duties in an accurate and timely fashion. He/she will provide support to the Director’s financial planning and business processes and shall be responsible for general accounting, accounts receivable, collection and payroll over several companies. Aside from performing all financial related duties as outlined in this job description other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Duties Include:

- Data entry for all Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable & credit card transactions
- Coordinate and process reports for Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable
- Perform bank deposits, transfers, and reconciliations
- Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
- Tax reporting, including CRA remittances and filings (HST & Payroll)
- Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using computerized bookkeeping systems
- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
- Post journal entries
- Prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports
- Prepare tax returns
- Preparation of year-end file for auditors and rollover of year-end
- Administrative work as required
- Miscellaneous duties as required by management

Skills Required:

- A minimum 2 year experience working as a bookkeeper
- Proficient with Excel & Sage50
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Work, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

**Salary**: $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Thunder Bay, ON P7J 1K6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- QuickBooks: 2 years (preferred)
- Bookkeeping: 2 years (preferred)
