_**Job Summary**:_
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Food Preparation & Cooking**:_
- Prepare and cook meals, including specialty dishes.
- Create visually appealing and decorative food displays.
- Oversee the production of all food items, including catering and hot table
- offerings.
- **Staff Management & Training**:_
- Instruct and supervise cooks and kitchen staff in the preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food.
- Train current staff in various cooking techniques and flavor pairings.
- Foster a positive work environment and motivate the team to achieve high
- standards.
- **Menu Planning & Development**:_
- Plan menus and develop new recipes to enhance the culinary offerings.
- Implement creativity with available products to craft unique dishes.
- **Cost & Supply Management**:_
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed.
- Manage food and labor costs effectively.
- Monitor the kitchen staff hours to sales ratio, ensuring labor costs align with
- sales targets.
- **Catering & Private Chef Services**:_
- Manage all aspects of outside catering and private cheffing services.
- Develop and oversee cooking classes and private chef events.
- **Quality Control & Procedures**:_
- Ensure the highest quality of food and service is delivered to customers.
- Implement and maintain cleaning and daily operational procedures within
- the kitchen.
**Compensation & Benefits**:
- **Annual Salary**:Competitive, based on experience.
- **Gratuities**:Included based on monthly pool share.
- **Vacation**:2 weeks of annual vacation.
- **Benefits**:Available as a cost-share with the company (50/50). Benefits are
mandatory after 90 days of employment, with an option to start after 30 days.

- Achieve sales growth over 30% to qualify for a bonus.
- Develop cooking classes and private chef events.
- Maintain a favorable kitchen staff hours to sales ratio (exact target TBD)
- **Qualifications**:_
- Proven experience as a Chef or Kitchen Manager.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Creative and innovative approach to menu development.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to manage costs and maximize profitability.
- Exceptional attention to detail and quality control.
