**Responsibilities**:

- Document preparation - preparing, editing and formatting correspondence and legal documents, litigation
- File management - managing large and complex files, developing, maintaining and utilizing an orderly filing and retrieval process to ensure ease of reference to paper and electronic records
- Administrative management - assisting in the management of the lawyer's practice including calendar management, bring forwards, client meetings and hearings
- Account management - assisting in the preparation and finalization of time dockets for preparing accounts
- Other responsibilities as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Thorough knowledge of business and legal terminology
- Meticulous attention to detail and desire to provide high quality, accurate work
- Exceptional communication skills to be able to liaise with lawyers, clients and court officers
- Exceptional time management, organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to work under pressure, complete tasks with speed and accuracy and the ability to multi-task in response to changing situations
- Excellent judgement and the ability to excise discretion when dealing with confidential and sensitive matters
- High client service orientation
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently, take initiative and be resourceful
- Flexibility to occasionally work overtime

This is a full-time on-site position.

Pay commensurates with experience. However, please be advised that this is an entry-level position.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)

- Mandarin (preferred)

Ability to Commute:
